A Special day for Special Children!
Non formal, non educational, non ethical and only fun filled measure to celebrate a day for children was the motive of Amplify Mindware on 14th November 2008.
It was the day which is not made for the normal mass who has got every support and opportunity in their way of education but for those who are looking behind with such effective support. Taking a pain to fulfill the gap between and provide them normalization in the way of educational life was very special about it.
To effectively fulfill the motive in the way, Amplify has joined hands with a city-based NGO, ‘The Door Step School’, so that from both ways the steps taken prove fruitful.
The school provides education and support to the often-forgotten children of pavement dwellers, slum dwellers and construction site families.
It was a special day for the 41 children from the NGO – “Door Step School” who had taken the pain to provide an opportunity to these underprivileged children to have fun in “Rajiv Gandhi Snake Park”, Katraj, where they can see various animals, play games and enjoy their special day.
The amplify postgraduate students Probal, Roushan, Amit, Ansul and Sweta alongwith the staff members Ms. Padma and Ms. Jidnyasa had readily volunteered for the event.
After the various fun activities carried out for the children, the whole team moved to the Katraj Dairy in the evening and were gifted with educational aids like pencils, erasers, sharpeners and so on.
It was a total gala time for the children and the volunteers of the related NGO were more than happy to join hands with the institute for carrying out certain other activities for the same in due course.
