National HRD Network, Pune chapter
NHRD Pune has resolved to bring both the Corporate and Student fraternities much closer to each other to enable the much required dialogue and interactions between both. With this philosophy in mind, NHRD has proposed to set up a Student’s Committee which would be dedicated to addressing the needs and expectations of the students and the Academic Institutions from the chapter. The member Institutions come together in a common forum to discuss the objectives and terms of reference for such a Student Committee for NHRD Pune.
NHRD Student Committee Chapter - Objectives
- Driven by students: Invite student representatives from key Academic Institutions to form the committee
- Focus on Student needs: Committee to recommend an annual calendar of events, activities and seminars
- Take the Chapter to the Students: All Student events and activities to be held in Academic Institutions
- Introduce Student Mentorship: Identify Industry mentors to engage with and mentor students on HR careers, HR Practices and Global HR trends

Membership
The student membership is highly subsidized. The membership fees are Rs 350 (Rs 50 admission fees + Rs 300 membership fees). Membership is valid till end of the third semester. Once a student takes up a job the membership shall be automatically cancelled.
