05 July 2008 : Amplify Faculty certified by Sun

Shital Nair and Shobha Raskar, lecturers at BVU Amplify Department of IT and Management, are now certified by Sun Microsystems, as faculty trained on Sun Java technologies in a special session. Dhiren Lohia, Expert trainer from Sun Microsystems, conducted this rigorous training on Core Java for 5 days from 30June08.

Mrs. Pradhan, HoD Computer Science of AISSPMS College, hosted the program at her college. The Computer Society of India (CSI) had arranged this Faculty Development Program (FDP) for technical and engineering colleges in Pune. Mr. Sahasrebuddhe of CSI thanked Sun for bringing this course to Pune colleges through CSI, and hoped that Sun now will conduct a course on Advanced Java topics for the participants.
