Forum for Women in Leadership

Ms. Padma Iyengar and Ms. Priya Sarsar had represented Amplify for the Fall '08 meeting of the "Forum for Women in Leadership" on 28 and 29 August 2008 at Tata Consultancy Services, Andheri, Mumbai. Amplify will be associated with WILL Forum with regards to future initiatives to be taken for women in leadership.

WILL Forum – Convener’s Profile
Ms. Poonam Barua is the Founding - Convener of the “Forum for Women in Leadership” (WILL Forum).
Ms. Barua is Director, PAMASIA, New Delhi. She is also concurrently Regional Director-India, The Conference Board, New York. She is representative for the Board’s highly successful forum on “Human Resources Council – India”, and the Board’s “Council on Corporate Governance & Risk Management (India).”
Ms. Barua presently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Walchand PeopleFirst Ltd., and is on the Governing Board of the Institute of Learning and Management (IILM).
Ms. Barua has been awarded the Ford Fellowship by the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University, for her work on conflict resolution and economic diplomacy in South Asia. She is also associated with distinguished international institutions and has spent over a decade as Chief Program Specialist with the United States Information Service in New Delhi.

Ms. Poonam Barua is on the advisory board of Amplify Mindware.
